On January 5, 1941, Dr. M. E. Dodd of the First Baptist Church of Shreveport, Louisiana, stepped to the microphone and launched THE BAPTIST HOUR. Not all The Baptist Hour speakers have been preachers--laymen have also helped to convey the message of hope and love and faith. Butt and others have graced the airways to touch hearts and change lives with the Word of God. .
